The MPC's NEO Confirmation Page has 4 listings: 1 new, 3 updated
When last checked at 2354 UTC today, the Minor Planet Center's NEO discovery Confirmation Page (NEOCP) had one new and three updated listings. Of these, three were "one nighters." The Tracking News counted a total of eight objects listed on the NEOCP at some point on this day.

- K08J08A 2008 JA8 (Q=4.227 AU, H=18.0 ~851m) was discovered at 1833 UT on 5 May by the Siding Spring Survey (SSS), which observed it at May 5.77-81p10. The discovery was confirmed by Tiki Obs. (May 6.59-61p3).
MPEC 2008-J36 - "21:58 UT" - 2008 JZ7
- K08J07Z 2008 JZ7 (Q=4.301 AU, H=18.5 ~676m) was discovered at 0313 UT on 5 May by Jarnac Obs., which observed it at May 5.13-16p3, 6.21-22p10, and 6.28-29p5. The discovery was confirmed by Sabino Canyon Obs. (May 6.22-24p3), Mt. John Obs. (May 6.32-34p5 & 6.44p3), Eschenberg Obs. (May 6.84-85p3), and Great Shefford Obs. (May 6.88-90p3).
MPEC 2008-J35 - "13:46 UT" - 2008 JL3
- K08J03L 2008 JL3 (risk-listed, Earth MOID=0.5 LD, H=25.5 ~27m) was discovered at 0825 UT on 5 May by LINEAR, which observed it at May 5.35-39p5. The discovery was confirmed by Cordell-Lorenz Obs. (May 6.22-24p4), Sabino Canyon Obs. (May 6.37-39p3), and Mt. John Obs. (May 6.38-39p4 & 6.45-46p4). This object was within ten lunar distances (LD) of Earth, reaching 7.8 LD on 4 May.
